Zinc oxide concentrate

Zinc concentrate is a product of processing and beneficiation of zinc soil, which is used as an intermediate product used in zinc production stages, and it should be noted that the quality level of different types of concentrate is different from each other, and usually their quality depends on the type of mine soil. . The grade of zinc concentrate available in Iranian markets depends on factors such as: The amount of zinc in the rock depends on its extraction ore and how it is concentrated.
Zinc metal has two types of concentrates, each of which has its own characteristics and is used in different fields in smelting factories.

• Concentrated zinc oxide Zno
• Zinc sulfide Zns concentrate

Zinc oxide concentrate, which is considered a type of non-ferrous and heavy metal, is extracted from zinc soil. After ore dressing and extraction of zinc mineral soil from sulphurous or oxidized rocks, it is transferred to zinc concentrate production factories for flotation (in order to separate sulphur, iron, copper, silver and especially lead metal from it). In fact, the zinc concentrate process has multiple arrangements.
Breaking the stone, grinding it and finally concentrating the lead stones. After this operation, the main zinc concentration process is carried out with hydrometallurgy or wet extraction and pyrometallurgy techniques. Zinc concentrate specifications usually depend on factors such as mineral type, grade, etc. Zinc concentrate is classified into three categories: low grade, medium grade, and high grade. Zinc oxide minerals extracted from mines are also separated from their impurities by one of the mentioned methods and converted into zinc oxide concentrate.
